Château Letters began with a simple wish: to send something real into the world. Something you could hold, open, and read in your own time.
Each month I write from my home in rural France about whatever the season has brought—life, creativity, the château, the garden, and all the beautiful, unfinished parts in between.
The words and the season will always change, but the form is now reassuringly constant: a letter, a recipe and a château sketch, wrapped together by hand before beginning their journey to you.

Every Château Letter follows the same thoughtful format, so you know what is waiting inside. The personal letter is joined by a recipe card and an original sketch from the château, both printed on heavyweight paper.
The recipe is always seasonal—sometimes French-inspired, sometimes inspired by my own life and what I have been cooking here. The drawing changes with the château and the time of year, becoming a little paper record of the season.
I wrap everything in silk paper, close it with a Château Letters sticker, and place it in the envelope. The complete piece stays under 20 grams: light enough to travel, yet full of something real to hold.

What is always inside a Château Letter?
Every month you receive a personal typewritten letter, a seasonal recipe card on heavyweight paper, and an original seasonal sketch from the château on heavyweight paper. They are wrapped together in silk paper and finished with a Château Letters sticker.
Does the format change each month?
The format now stays beautifully consistent, while the contents follow the season. The letter tells a new story, the recipe changes, and each château sketch captures a different moment in the year.
Do the letters travel internationally?
Yes. The complete letter has been carefully designed to remain under 20 grams, making this repeatable format light enough to travel internationally. Postal services and restrictions can still vary by destination.
How do I make sure it reaches me?
After joining, add your complete and current postal address to your Patreon membership. If you move, remember to update it before the next letter is prepared.
